What is the validity period of the IELTS?

Whether you have taken the IELTS exam on paper or from a computer, the validity of the IELTS exam certification (known as TRF - Test Report Form) is two years. Institutions can accept a TRF of more than two years, but after this period, you may have to present evidence that you have maintained or improved your English level since the exam date.

Please note that our center will not be able to access your IELTS results if you took them more than two years ago. Thus, we will not be able to generate copies of them for you or third parties once this period has elapsed.

Can I request a review of my results?

If you did not receive the score you expected, you can apply for your test to be re-marked. This is called an Enquiry on Results (EOR).

The fee for this service is 93,800.00 ARS, which will be refunded if your score is increased for any section of the test.

You need to apply for a re-marking no later than six weeks after the test date, regardless of whether you have taken IELTS on Paper or IELTS on Computer.

IELTS score and levels

What does my exam score mean?

The IELTS English test assesses English language skills at various levels. This English test uses a band scoring system to measure results, with 1 being the lowest band and nine being the highest. You will be scored on an IELTS score range of 0-9 for each section of the test, reflecting your level of English.
