In this short film, curator Katrina Schwarz talks about how David Shrigley's headless taxidermy work Ostrich was a rich starting point for putting together Lose Your Mind.

Through its inclusion Lose Your Mind, this flightless bird is now destined to fly and tour the world.

Ostrich was made in 2009 and is David Shrigley's largest taxidermy to date. It is now part of the British Council collection.
