Poster Amplify Digital Arts Initiative

AMPLIFY D.A.I returns to MUTEK Montreal to showcase the ingenious and innovative work of 20 new entrants. Selected by the British Council, Somerset House Studios and MUTEK, artists from Argentina, Canada and the United Kingdom join a series of workshops, exhibitions and public presentations during the hybrid edition of the festival that will take place from September 8 to 13 - accessible to the whole world through MUTEK's online portals.

MUTEK is a platform for the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music and audio-visual arts. The project has been active in Montreal, Québec, Canada, since 2000 and today it is a global network with editions in Mexico, Spain, Japan, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Argentina. Its purpose is to provide a platform for the most original and visionary artists currently working in these disciplines, with the intention of creating a space of initiation and discovery for audiences. MUTEK encourages innovation and disseminates new music and digital art.

Somerset House Studios is a new experimental workspace in central London that connects artists, doers and thinkers with different audiences. The Studios are a platform for the development of new creative projects and for collaboration, promoting works that propose bold ideas, engage with pressing issues and use cutting-edge technologies.
