Academia Argüello and the British Council invite you to “Creating ELT materials for your classes: Principles, tips and tools. A workshop with Katherine Bilsborough” on:
28 August, from 18.00 to 19.30 hs.
La Biblioteca, Academia Argüello (Av. Rafael Núñez 5675, Córdoba)
Entrance is free. No previous registration is needed.
About the workshop
Most teachers create some of their own materials for their classes and for many it is a rewarding part of the job.
We’ll start this session with some theory. First we’ll discuss some of the principles behind writing excellent materials. Then we’ll take a look at some practical advice from experienced materials writers, answering questions like ‘How can I check the level of my materials?’ and ‘Which tools and websites are a writer’s best friends?’
In the second part of the session participants will work in small groups to create some materials for their own classes, with hands on assistance and feedback from Katherine.
